Bahman Manufacturing Company was established in 1965 as a private company for the purpose of manufacturing and marketing of about 5000 units Refrigerators per year. To this end, about 20000 square meters was purchased in relatively populated area in Tehran and manufacturing facilities were installed.
A technical “know-how” agreement was signed with “Philco” of U.S.A, through which, technical assistance was received from Philco Italy granting the right to use “Philco” brand name in Iran. Then we could obtain the right to use “Hoover” brand name from Britain and with compose of these two names, we were registered “PHILVER” as our trade mark.

In early 1992 management decided to cooperate with Italian “Merloni Group” in possession of “Ariston” brand name and a technical “know-how” transfer agreement was signed that year between two companies.

Since, the previous factory location was too small for increasing the production and not sufficient for new project foreseen, in early 2000, factory moved to a new site located in vicinity of Tehran where the area is about 230,000 square meters.

Now, 1250 persons are working in the company and the capacity of production is 350,000 units of Refrigerator, Freezer and Fridge-Freezer that, due to market demands are expansible.

That is not at all yet; we are planning to produce other household appliances in variety of models in cooperation with well-known companies, such as Vacuum Cleaner, Washing Machines and Cooker in near future.
